HelloAlma Program for in-network clients

I’ve partnered with Alma (helloalma.com) to manage my practice’s billing and payment logistics for in network insurance clients. (Click here to request a consultation via my Alma profile directly)

When you book an appointment and once you share your current health plan details (including the insurance provider, member ID, and group ID) with me, I will update this information in Alma’s systems. Then, Alma will email you with a confirmation of active coverage and an estimated payment responsibility for our sessions.

If you prefer to input your insurance information directly into Alma’s system, I’ll send an email through Alma’s system prompting you to submit your insurance details. Once you’ve updated your information, Alma will email you with a confirmation of active coverage and an estimated payment responsibility for our sessions.

Payments with Alma

You’ll be invoiced your copay or deductible amount through Alma. I require a card on file, however you will be putting that card into Alma’s system. They will deduct your copay/deductible amount within 24 hours of your session. You will recieve a receipt after each payment.

*If you cannot make your appointment, and have not cancelled at least 24 hours prior, your card on file will be charged for the entire session fee

Out-of-network insurance

While I am in-network with the above insurance companies, you may be able to use insurance benefits if you have an out of network policy with a different insurer. If you want to claim your Out-of-Network insurance benefits, I will provide you with a Superbill (itemized paid invoice) that you can present to your insurance company for potential reimbursement of payments made up front. NOTE: Please call your insurance company to get specifics on your policy, as many PPO insurances will reimburse you for a percentage of what you have already paid.
